Academic publishing has undergone fundamental changes in recent decades. Alongside the new technical possibilities offered by online publishing, there have also been calls for open access to publications. Since 2023, the ‘Graz University Library Publishing’ service has provided members of the University of Graz with an open-access publishing service that meets these demands and whose publications comply with the highest quality standards, as required of their members by the AG Universitätsverlage and the OASPA. In addition to the publishing activities themselves (ranging from the allocation of an ISBN and DOI to distribution via major platforms such as the German National Library, OAPEN, DOAB, etc.) and marketing activities, our publishing services include numerous other services designed to support authors right from the manuscript drafting stage.
