BrowZine and LibKey
BrowZine is a digital bookshelf that makes accessing relevant journals and articles much faster and easier.
The majority of the e-journals provided by the University of Graz are currently available in BrowZine, as well as Open Access journals.
BrowZine has been optimised for mobile devices but is also accessible with all common browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Brave and Vivaldi).
You can download the app via the maker's download page.
To use BrowZine, you and your device must be on campus. From off campus, you will need to use a VPN to connect.
We still recommend using unikat to search for journal articles. You can find further information on the journals (such as which volumes are licenced) in the EZB.

LibKey Nomad plug-in
Third Iron also offers a web browser plug-in called LibKey Nomad, which provides you with a [Download PDF] button, a direct link to the full text for individual entries in search results lists. These buttons can be displayed, for example, in search result lists in Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed and Wikipedia.
For licensed e-books, a [View E-Book] button appears on sites such as Amazon and Google Books.
The plug-in is compatible with all common browsers. After downloading it, go to the plug-in’s drop-down menu in your browser settings and select "University of Graz".
To use this service, you and your device must be within the university’s IP address range. (If you are not on campus, you can connect via VPN.)
Members of the University of Graz who activate this browser extension can also use LibKey Nomad++. This additional service allows users to receive pop-up notifications about licensed products directly from the University Library when they visit a page. It is also possible to export citation data for reference management programmes.
Libkey.io
With Libkey.io, you can search for articles directly using their DOIs or PubMed IDs (PMID).
