All registered users have the possibility to propose e-books and printed books, which are not available at the university library, for purchase via the web form below.
Please check in unikat beforehand whether the desired work is already in the collection.
Please order individual essays via interlibrary loan.
Interlibrary loans
Interlibrary loan orders articles and books for you that are not available at any library in Graz. Please note that interlibrary loan orders are associated with costs.

For interlibrary loan please use the form in unikat (registration required). Only one work or article can be ordered per form. You can find an overview of your interlibrary loan orders in your account in unikat.
By sending the order you agree to pay the costs:
Costs per volume
- Domestic: EUR 2,00-7,00
- Germany: EUR 10,00-20,00
- Orders from other countries may be more expensive
Costs for essays (printed copy)
- Domestic: with exceptions usually EUR 0.40 per page
Medical University of Vienna up to 20 pages EUR 7.00
Austrian National Library Vienna up to 50 pages EUR 25.00 - Germany up to 20 pages EUR 10,00-20,00
The delivery time within Austria is about 14 days, deliveries from abroad can take up to four weeks.
You will be notified of the arrival of the ordered media by e-mail. If we do not have an e-mail address, you will receive notification by mail.
Books can be picked up and returned at the circulation desk of the main library. Unclaimed books will be returned at the end of the loan period without further notice. Any charges incurred will remain in effect.
Journal articles will be made permanently available as a printed copy. Sending electronic copies is precluded by copyright law.
Borrowing conditions depend on the partner libraries. As a rule, the minimum loan period is four weeks.
If you need your works longer, contact Interlibrary Loan by e-mail at least three days before the loan period expires. If the lending library does not agree to the extension, you must return the interlibrary loan book by the deadline.
