About ACM
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is the world’s largest computing society of its kind. It serves over 100,000 members worldwide in companies and research institutions across both established and emerging sectors of the software, hardware and IT industries. It provides print and online content that serves as an authoritative source of industry knowledge for its members and can assist them in their research and professional careers.
Publishing in ACM:
The agreement (negotiated through the Austrian Academic Library Consortium (KEMÖ)) between the University Library Graz and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) now offers Corresponding Authors from the University of Graz free and uncomplicated Open Access publishing in selected ACM journals.
From 1 January 2026, all ACM publications are published Open Access (OA) and can be read, shared and reused free of charge in the ACM Digital Library (DL).
Reading ACM content:
University of Graz staff and students can access the full content, including all features, of the expanded ACM Digital Library (DL). The complete ACM portfolio includes:
over 50 peer-reviewed journals
7 magazines featuring articles, news and opinions from industry experts in computer and information technology
proceedings from over 170 conferences, workshops and symposia
newsletters from ACM Special Interest Groups
