The University Library is a large universal library with an extensive collection of books, journals and electronic media.
Students who are at least 14 years old can use the media and services free of charge.

Library card
To borrow literature and use electronic media in the University Library, you need a library card.
Search and borrow books
The media of the university library are listed in the search portal unikat.
Books of the main library have to be ordered in unikat, at the other libraries the books can be fetched from the shelves by yourself.
Do it yourself! Our video tutorials
Our modular video tutorials are available for self-study or classroom use at any time.
Electronic media
The access to our licensed offer (e-books, electronic journals and databases) is only possible for students in the rooms of the university library. A library card is required to log on to the PCs. Please note the general terms of use.
Print, Copy, Scan
Copiers and scanners are available at or near all libraries.
