Repository Management from A-Z: The guide for beginners and professionals

Repositorienmanagement von A–Z: Das Handbuch für Einsteiger:innen und Profis

New publication from Graz University Library Publishing

What is a repository? What are repositories used for? What should you consider when installing? Which data format is/isn't appropriate?

Repositories are far more than just a place to store data; they increase the visibility, accessibility and reusability of research results. The “Handbuch Repositorienmanagement” (Handbook of Repository Management) offers comprehensive help and a working basis for all those who deal with repositories or work with them. For the first time, not only research data and other digital content of repositories are considered, but special attention is paid to the management of repositories. The handbook is aimed at beginners as well as practitioners and is therefore a valuable aid for anyone interested in the topic. The volume has now been published by Graz University Library Publishing and is available for download free of charge as a complete PDF document and in the form of individual chapters.

Visit our website to learn more about our editorial policies, submission procedures, and services, or browse through our published books. If you are interested in publishing your research with Graz University Library Publishing, we would be happy to provide you with a personal consultation or to answer your questions at ub.publikationsservices(at)uni-graz.at.
