New database content is now available to University of Graz members via Gale, CAS and ProQuest. Some changes have also been made to the range of available journals. From 2026 onwards, the full texts of INFORMS journals (from 1998 onwards), Academy of Management journals, and American Accounting Association journals will be accessible to University of Graz members via EBSCO Business Source Premier.
Here is a brief overview of what these changes mean for users at the University of Graz.
Gale (History, Media Studies and Political Science)
Until the end of 2026, members of the University of Graz will have access to both Gale Research Complete Premium (GRC Premium) and Gale Research Complete (GRC) content. The GRC collection consists mainly of digital newspaper archives. Premium content includes:
- British Library Newspapers (Part I-VI), 1800-1950
- Daily Mail Historical Archive, 1896–2016
- The Economist Historical Archive, 1843–2020
- Financial Times Historical Archive, 1888–2021
- The Telegraph Historical Archive, 1855–2016
- The Times Digital Archive, 1785–2019
- China and the Modern World (Part I-VII), 1817-1993
- U.S. Declassified Documents Online
CAS (Chemistry)
The SciFinder Discovery Platform now includes the following elements:

ChemZent (archive of the “Chemisches Zentralblatt” ): log-in page, training page
For existing CAS users, the login details remain the same; new users will need to register (see FAQs).
ProQuest (Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts)
Members of the University of Graz can access five new ProQuest databases:
Art & Architecture Archive: from the late 19th to the 21st century; covering the fields of fine arts, applied arts, architecture, interior design, industrial design and photography
- Economist Intelligence Unit – Country Reports Archive
- LGBT Magazine Archive
- Religious Magazine Archive
- Women’s Magazine Archive (a curious example from 1885)
INFORMS (Business Studies)
The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), based in Baltimore, Maryland, publishes a total of 17 renowned scientific, peer-reviewed journals, many of which are also included in the Financial Times 50 Journals list. These include Marketing Science, Management Science and Operations Research.
Academy of Management (Business Studies)
The Academy of Management (AOM), founded in 1936, is an association for researchers in the field of management and organisation, with around 21,000 members from over 120 countries. Its members include professors, doctoral students, and practitioners with an interest in the development and application of management knowledge.

American Accounting Association (Business Studies)
Founded in 1916, the American Accounting Association (AAA) is a community of accounting experts. Their well-known journals include the Accounting Review, the Journal of Information Systems, and the Journal of Management Accounting Research.
