The 2nd Resource Efficient Vehicles Conference (rev2025), held from September 23–25, 2025, in Graz, Austria, brought together experts from academia, industry, and public institutions. The conference theme was “Enabling Circular and Decarbonized Vehicle and Transport Solutions.” It served as a platform to focus discussion on research across a variety of fields aligned with this shared goal. The conference was structured around five key topics, ranging from sustainable design in the early stages of vehicle development to transforming the entire transportation system, and the role of digital technologies and societal perspectives in sustainable transport solutions. The conference proceedings, now published as an Open Access e-book, provide a comprehensive insight into the research presented and demonstrate the diversity and innovation of the approaches to sustainable transport for the future.
