Datenschutz als Herausforderung im Forschungsdatenmanagement

Ziel des Forschungsdatenmanagements ist es, Daten gemäß den FAIR-Prinzipien auffindbar, zugänglich, interoperabel und nachnutzbar zu machen. Insbesondere in den Sozialwissenschaften enthalten Forschungsdaten häufig personenbezogene oder sensible Informationen, weshalb neben technischen auch forschungsethische, datenschutz- und urheberrechtliche Anforderungen zu beachten sind. Der Workshop gibt einen Überblick über zentrale Maßnahmen und gute Praktiken entlang des gesamten Datenlebenszyklus – von Einwilligungen und Anonymisierung bis hin zu Lizenzierung und Zugriffskontrolle.

The Almanach in the Wirtschafts-Compass (formerly ZEDHIA) provides access to one of the most comprehensive digital collections of historical economic publications in Austria. The database enables targeted searches in original company directories, commercial registers and economic publications dating back to 1789, providing essential insights into the development of companies, industries and economic structures over time.
