High-quality, full-length recordings of world-famous theatre performances are the centrepiece of DigitalTheatre+. The focus is on English literature (e.g. William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing with David Tennant and Catherine Tate), but the platform also features performances in other languages (e.g. Alexander Pushkin's Boris Godunov in Russian, directed by Dmitri Krymov, or the short film Noye's Fludde - Unogumbe, based on Benjamin Britten's opera and sung in Xhosa) as well as works translated into English (e.g. Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House or Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya with Aimee Lou Wood).
Another highlight are the adaptations of novels and dramas as graphic novels (e.g. Franz Kafka's The Trial, Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Manga Shakespeare: Romeo and Juliet). Complementing this material are interviews with actors, directors and authors as well as rehearsal recordings, documentaries and lectures. DigitalTheatre+ also offers a wide range of teaching materials, such as e-learning videos, workshops, interpretation aids, and analyses.
