DVDs & Audio CDs
Order via unikat
- Orders until 14:00: Pick up at RESOWI info desk
- Orders after 2:00 p.m.: Pick-up on the following working day, RESOWI information desk.
- Borrowing media from the media library's information desk is also possible without prior order via unikat.
You are welcome to use the borrowed media on playback devices on site or to borrow a DVD player.
Microfilms
Microfilm scanners are available in the media library, where you can read the required articles and texts and save them free of charge to a USB stick that you bring with you.
Group room
A group room for about 15 people with LCD projector and multimedia equipment is available.

Newspapers on microfilm
Over 1,300 newspaper titles. Austrian daily and regional newspapers, e.g. Die Presse, Wiener Zeitung from 1703, Obersteirische Nachrichten. Also foreign press, e.g. Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Zeit.
DVD videos
Over 8,000 DVDs. Literary adaptations, foreign language films, festival winners, live theater performances, documentaries on various subjects.
E.g.: "Emma" after Jane Austen, "Moloch" by director Aleksandr Sokurov, Austria newsreel" from 1933 to 1981, documentary about architect Kevin Roche.
Text and image collections
Text collections (full texts), e.g. Bibliothek der deutschen Literatur: About 15,000 titles by about 3,000 authors. Bibliothek Stein: Collection on the history of socialism. Image collections, e.g. the Dead Sea Scrolls on microfiche.
ORF archive
The legendary interviews with Bruno Kreisky, films directed by Axel Corti, contributions from the individual state studios, current documentaries: The ORF archive provides access to the programs broadcast since 1955 to which ORF holds the rights. It started with more than 550,000 hours of programming, which is constantly being expanded. The audio archive "KOKO" is also available. Use in the media library.
