Register at University library Graz
Public users (including students from other universities and colleges except the Styrian universities mentioned above) also get a library card with a barcode and their user number (with the prefix "$B”") printed on it.
Access to licensed resources (e-journals, e-books, databases; see terms of use) of the University of Graz is available to staff & students via VPN, a service of UNI IT.

Registration and library card
After pre-registration you can get your library card on the next workday from 10:00 to 18:00. It is valid 2 years and can be renewed.
Please bring ID picture, photo identification and a residence registration form.
Young people under the age of 18 also have to show a declaration of liability by their parents.
Persons older than 14 and living in Austria may loan books.

Help, I lost my library card!
Please come to the loan desk at the main library and have your card disabled. As strangers can order books with your card, you will be held responsible if they are lost. Therefore, in your own interest, have your card disabled as soon as possible!
