Open access collections
Open access collections are those holdings which are freely accessible and therefore do not have to be ordered. Holdings from closed magazines, on the other hand, must be ordered for use or loan.
Books, journals, newspapers
All of the library's locations offer bibliographies, handbooks, dictionaries, reference books, and hardcover periodicals concerning every scientific field as well as current journals and many national and international newspapers. At the main library you can use them in the library but cannot borrow them. At the other locations you can borrow most of them.
