In this workshop (held in English) Prof. Palan, head of the Institute of Banking and Finance and journal editor of the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance, will share his perspective and insights regarding the process of publishing in journals.

The workshop will focus on
-    a brief introduction on publication processes:
        - how does peer review work
        - tasks of journal editors, etc.
-    Trends in publishing:
        - preregistration
        - open peer review
        - AI and publishing
        - data management
        - code and data
        - ...
-     discussion
        - partipicants are encouraged to ask questions and be part of the discussion on issues of scholarly publications
        - participants can also send questions beforehand to ub.publikationsservices@uni-graz.at

The session will be held at the SR 62.31 (university library, 3rd floor) and will be streamed online via uniMEET: https://unimeet.uni-graz.at/b/sch-ena-uys-usn
